About Us
As an initiative of a small collective, ARIPAN was started for reaching out directly to people at the margins of society as a helping hand. The guiding principle of ARIPAN stands firmly on the community-based development approach with an intent to strengthen socio-economic conditions of different communities. Keeping these objectives in purview, ARIPAN aims to innovate unique community driven socio-economic initiatives, in solidarity with its members, to cultivate potentialities of their upliftment.
It is privilege to find a noteworthy cultural diversity in the ARIPAN team enabling a dialogue from various socio-political vantage points. This has helped the organization in bringing diverse issue faced across the breadth of the country by different communities on a common platform and ARIPAN continues to have a steadfast belief in engaging with these different social issues. More importantly, ARIPAN has continued to generate a sensitivity towards this diverse social fabric of our community and work on issues keeping in sight the nuance and uniqueness of these different socio-cultural contexts.

Vision
As a foundation, ARIPAN has a singular and concrete focus of standing in solidarity with demands of community members in times of peril and working with them to address their concerns. The team envisions to engage with the community, in terms of its ideas and resources at their disposal, with the purpose of removing developmental bottlenecks of the very “last mile”.
Mission
To grasp and work towards answering apprehensions of different community members – women, children, youth and adolescent etcetera – on their rights and demands – health, livelihood, food security, education, access to public service – in a deliberative manner.
Our objective
Work actively on social and economical demands of children across demographic spectrum by including children from different caste, sex, class, region etcetera.
Reaching out and working with community who remain in shadows of the society with an aim to achieve, to best possible results, a democratic and socially just society.
Engaging with demands of community members and realising any scope of fulfilling these necessities, on their terms, by bringing Government’s social schemes within their reach.
Facilitating children’s access to their fundamental rights and ensure a safe environment for their growth and development. Therefore, working with an understanding that children’s development is mediated by pulling them out from bondages of child-labour, child sexual abuse, child-marriage etc and pushing their future steps towards better education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities.
Carrying out activities, through unique and efficient projects, for assisting community member in overcoming livelihood hurdles and in certain socio-economic contexts assisting as well as bridging the gap between invisible workers and market.
